Animals adopted from Rebels Rescue are:
- Spayed and neutered
- Fully vaccinated based on age/weight at the time of adoption
- Have received a medical exam
- Microchipped
- All dogs are tested for heartworms
- All cats are tested at the time of entry for FIV and FeLV and will be specified if negative or positive in the medical as well as the description. (Please note that FIV and FeLV testing at the time of entry do not guarantee the cats will be free of the disease.)
How to Adopt
- Browse our animals that are available for adoption
- Find the cat or dog that's right for you and your family
- Submit our adoption inquiry form. An adoption counselor will respond to your request within 48 hours
- Arrange a meet and greet! Fall in love with your new best friend and discuss any questions with your adoption counselor
- Complete all remaining adoption paperwork and pay the adoption fee
- Take your new best friend home!
Adoption Requirements
Adopters must meet the following requirements:
- Be of legal age to enter into a contract
- Have financial resources to support the needs of the animal
- Be prepared to enter into a long-term commitment to care for the animal
- If applicable, have authorization from your landlord&
- If applicable, approval from family members or roommates that the cat or dog is welcome
Additionally, you will need to provide the following items to Rebels Rescue:
- A driver's license, state photo ID, or passport
- Verification of current address
- A form of payment for the adoption fee
Please note that the Rebels Rescue reserves the right to deny any adoption application.
Adoption Fees
The standard adoption fees listed below apply to most of our available animals, except for certain special breeds like Siamese, Long-haired, Oriental, and others. Fees for these special breeds may vary, but you can find the specific adoption fee on each animal's profile.
- Kittens: $125
- Adult Cats: $100
- Dogs: Varies. Fee information is available on their animal profile
